Thank you for playing the complete edition of Super Amiya Bonko!
The complete edition features 9 levels of bouncing, bonking, and b-words sure to delight and frustrate!
New Features:
- 6 new levels
- 2 new world themes
- new traps, hazards, interactable elements
- janky boss fight!
- unlockable player skins
- collectables in each level that you spend on new skins
- secret hunting!
- Improved things under the hood so the game feels more responsive and is more reliable
- expanded color palette gives more variety to visuals, both new and reworked
- new music I found lying around that kind of fit. (it's not very good, if anyone has better music or wants to make music for the game, leave a message, PLEASE)
We at Bucktendo believe you deserved the complete Super Amiya Bonko experience. So we suggested to the developer that his Amitoxin provision might be affected if he didn't finish the game and he agreed to work for free, saying something under his breath about "well it's good practice anyway..."
Backstory:
The buckos have been corrupted by the hated Amy Arachnid and many of your friends have gone missing!
Save the buckos by bonking them and see if you can't find out where your friends ran off to while you're at it.
Gameplay:
You can either land on their heads or use your hammer to bring them to their senses, but be careful, bonking them with the hammer can accidentally send them flying into hazards and you wouldn't want that!
If you save all the buckos in a level you get a bonus to your score at the end and you will also receive good feelings.*
You have five(5) attempts per level in the form of lives that will be spent if you come in contact with hazards or any other part of a bucko besides it's head as they are all various hazards. (see the "guide to bucko anatomy" section of the manual for more information)
Controls:
Run - WASD keys / arrow keys
Jump - Space bar
Bonk - Left mouse click / control
Pause - Escape key
Reset (will use life) - Backspace
You can reset your progress in the credits menu in case you want that "new game smell"
*good feelings available on a first come, first serve basis and may not be available in your area. For a complete list of where you can receive good feelings refer to the back of the manual)

Love the tiny sprites and how you bounce off buckos. So much fun!
thanks! the tiny sprites were actually an accident originally but I thought their being so small was too cute so I kept it.
All buckos must blusho.
Good job, bucko.
>(//0.0//)< thank you!
My favorite part of this game (other than the cute depictions of ami and buckos) is how the movement feels! gosh its so satisfying to move around, bounce off of the buckos, and bonk them. feels really fluid and like you're in complete control of all the actions. i love the "bucktendo" touch you put in and your description of the game is so silly and funny!! i had a great time playing this!
Thank you, Ami! I'm glad I was able to make something that I'm proud of and that you enjoyed so much, looking forward to the next buckojam!
Movement feels really good, and the Bucko sprites are cute.
Thanks!
Disclaimer: No Buckos were hurt in preparation for this comment ... ok, I lied (It is the conveyer belt's fault, I swear) ;-)
Controls/Movement feels good and I like the Idea, that you have to keep aware of your surroundings when rescuing buckos, no matter if you bonk or jump on them.
Have to finish it later
Glad you liked it! I thought the added challenge of not accidentally uh..."permabanning" buckos was a fun idea. I had a bunch more ideas for levels that I ran out of time to finish but maybe I'll come back to this game, I really had fun making it.
Love it! It plays well and i like the tiny sprites!
thanks!
Very cute, loved how fluid is the ami controls. I aslso loved how amicore is the sprites, background, sound and colors
Thank you so much! I don't feel that I'm very good with art, but I really tried hard to get that amicore vibe.
very cute!! the controls are pretty satisfying once you get used to them with a lot of jump height but platforming sections that require holding back. i'll come back later and save all the buckos lol nice work
Thanks! I probably spent the most time working on the feel of the character movement so that's very validating to hear.
